“Writing ‘Unmasking Michael’ was a challenging endeavour, as it intertwined my personal experiences with fictional elements to enhance reader engagement. My connection with Michael was deeper than with any other woman he interacted with online throughout the years, and I regrettably saw him as my closest male confidant. 

Our interaction was devoid of financial transactions, romantic overtures, or unreciprocated affection. He was just my friend, one I shared my secrets with, the one I called when something politically occurred in the region. He was brilliant in multiple subjects and extremely well-read.   

As a professional, it was a humbling experience to confess to my peers that Michael’s persona on Facebook was an elaborate ruse designed to lure women—not for monetary benefits or overt harassment, but for covert online stalking. 

Of course, there was speculation about his stalking extending to the streets, as no one would have known what his true identity was, (and yes he is a man).  

During our friendship, he was romantically entangled with multiple women over the age of 45. Once I severed ties with him on social media and delved deeper into my investigation, the true extent of his malevolence came to light. He harboured a deep-seated hatred towards women. 

Michael meticulously orchestrated his various facades with precision, crafting a convincing narrative. A thorough examination of my interactions with him revealed the unsettling truth that Michael exhibited traits of a narcissistic sociopath. 

The essence of truth lies in the evidence: conversations, emails, Facebook updates, and police interrogations were all true.

Was he under investigation for fraudulent misrepresentation? Yes, he was

As for whether he’s a ‘killer’? – that is up to you to decide……
